Wuthering Waves’ version 2.1, Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls is set to release in a couple of days

Kuro Games is gearing up to release Wuthering Waves’ much-anticipated update, Version 2.1, titled Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls, slated to launch on February 13th. This update promises to enrich the game with new Resonators, weapons, regions, and a slew of engaging events, expanding the horizons of Ragunna City and its surroundings with fresh stories, challenges, and exploration opportunities.

At the forefront of the v2.1 update are two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, who are set to introduce innovative combat styles to the game. Alongside them, new weapons such as the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor will be available. Players can also get their hands on the four-star Ocean’s Gift by taking part in a fishing-themed event in the newly introduced Riccioli Islands.

For explorers, Version 2.1 opens up the Vault Underground and Riccioli Islands, each with unique histories and hidden challenges. The Vault, nestled beneath the Sea of Clouds, serves as a secure storage zone, whereas the Riccioli Islands preserve traditions from Rinascita’s past, offering a stark contrast to Ragunna’s structured order.

These new areas contribute to the rich lore of Wuthering Waves, complemented by new narratives such as Brant’s Companion Story, Sail Day, Captain!, which delves into his background, and the Silent as a Falling Leaf Exploration Quest, which uncovers more of Ragunna’s secrets. Players will also encounter new Echoes like Rage Against the Statue and Aero Prism, presenting fresh challenges.

The update is packed with limited-time events that add excitement and variety. The Old Man and the Whale event lets players embark on a quest to catch rare fish, while Apex Ragunna ties into the Carnevale festival, unlocking new areas in the Water City.
