Guncho: A Wild West Gunslinger Puzzle
Arnold Rauers, the creator of titles like ENYO, Card Crawl Adventure, and Miracle Merchant, presents Guncho, a new turn-based puzzle game. Similar in spirit to ENYO, Guncho transports players to the American Wild West, where they'll don a cowboy hat and take on the role of a gunslinger battling against evil.
Gameplay as Guncho
In this untamed frontier setting, you'll strategically outmaneuver bandits as Guncho, a lone gunslinger. The game utilizes unique positional shooting mechanics. You'll move Guncho across a grid-based landscape, carefully aiming your shots to defeat enemies. Exploit environmental elements like explosive barrels and treacherous cacti to gain an advantage. Randomly generated levels provide replayability, allowing you to collect upgrades and enhance your skills before facing challenging boss encounters. Guncho blends roguelike elements with strategic gameplay.
Worth a Shot?
Guncho offers a diverse range of boss battles and levels. Its compact design provides decent replay value, further enhanced by a competitive leaderboard. Available for free on Android, the full game can be unlocked for $4.99. The free version provides a substantial amount of gameplay.
Note that a demo achievement for defeating the boss is no longer obtainable after the full game's release due to the demo's removal. The full game primarily expands upon the free version by removing the achievement limitations.
