by Olivia Mar 16,2025

Following the release of Dynasty Warriors: Origins, Koei Tecmo unleashes another title, Warriors: Abyss, a fresh take on the musou genre. This roguelite, featuring familiar faces from the Warriors series, is available now.

Showcased during today's PlayStation State of Play, Warriors: Abyss lets players assemble a squad of iconic characters and battle through hordes of enemies. The isometric perspective evokes the feel of Diablo and the roguelite Hades.

Players assemble a team to confront the forces of "hell," engaging demonic foes. The trailer featured characters from various Warriors games, including Zhou Yu, Nobunaga Oda, and Sun Shang Xiang.

PlayAccording to the PlayStation Blog, characters can be recruited and added to your team, providing additional summoning abilities. Players can utilize up to seven active heroes in battle, with a roster of 100 warriors available at launch.

Koei Tecmo plans to expand the character roster, beginning with additions from the Jin kingdom in Dynasty Warriors. Further additions are teased, with the possibility of characters from outside the Warriors series joining the fray.

Warriors: Abyss is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A Nintendo Switch release is slated for February 13, 2025. Players seeking the in-game Dynasty Warriors Costume Set should purchase the game before March 14, 2025.
