A heartwarming initiative on Reddit, titled "Can't afford the game? Let me help," ignited a wave of generosity among gaming enthusiasts. Launched by user verdantsf, the campaign was designed to pay forward the kindness they had once received during difficult times. Initially, verdantsf gifted five copies of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to fellow users, and, overwhelmed by the positive response, followed up with another five. In total, they distributed games worth approximately $600.

The movement swiftly gained momentum, inspiring around 30 more individuals to purchase copies for those unable to buy the game themselves. Recognizing the outpouring of support, Warhorse Studios stepped in, gifting verdantsf a collector’s edition of KCD2 and replenishing their stock for further giveaways.
After receiving five additional copies from Warhorse, the third batch was sent out. "The developers are amazing. Thank you for the collector’s edition!" verdantsf expressed gratitude, also praising the subreddit moderators for fostering such a positive community.
Reflecting on the initiative, verdantsf noted, "It's incredible to see so many community members coming together to support each other in challenging times. A big thank you to the 30 people who bought KCD2 for others. Teamwork makes the dream work!"
Assuming each participant purchased one copy for someone else, it’s estimated that over $2,000 was collectively spent on buying and gifting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This remarkable act of community spirit, coupled with Warhorse Studios’ generous contribution, underscores the power of goodwill within the gaming world—a rare but heartening occurrence.
