World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens will now be converted to prevent wasted currency. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used again.

This automatic conversion, detailed in a forum post by community manager Linxy, ensures players don't retain useless currency. While Patch 11.1 lacks a firm release date, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent update schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events.

Consequently, the conversion will likely postdate the second Turbulent Timeways event, meaning players will have a window to utilize their newly acquired Timewarped Badges in various Timewalking events. These Timewarped Badge rewards remain permanently available.
