War Thunder Mobile's Open Beta for Air Battles Takes Flight!
Gaijin Entertainment has launched the open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat action. This update introduces over 100 planes from three nations (with more to come!), significantly expanding the game beyond its previous naval and ground support aircraft. This open beta features a full aerial tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.
Dive into the skies with aircraft from the USA, Germany, and the USSR, including iconic planes like the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. Players can choose to focus on a single nation's tech tree or explore multiple nations to unlock a diverse fleet. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired via blueprints earned in in-game events, starting in early October.
The new Aviation campaign offers a dedicated aircraft hangar for managing your planes. Here, you can research tech trees, upgrade crews, and form squadrons of up to four aircraft. Customize your planes with various armaments and camouflage options. See the action in the trailer below!
Between battles, the aircraft hangar serves as your central hub. Manage your vehicles, customize camouflage, explore the tech tree, and invite friends to join your squadron. Each aircraft slot allows for vehicle swapping, armament modification, and crew upgrades. Squadrons can be built with any combination of aircraft, regardless of class, nation, or rank.
