miHoYo (HoYoverse), the creators of Zenless Zone Zero, have released a new story trailer featuring Evelyn Chevalier, a familiar face from ZZZ 1.5. The trailer showcases Evelyn undertaking various assignments, described as "generating spectacular shots," until she receives a special request from Astra Yao. The trailer hints at a less-than-successful completion of this assignment, with Astra now a singer and Evelyn serving as her assistant.

Gameplay-wise, Evelyn is an S-rank Fire-attribute heroine specializing in Attack. Her unique ability centers on focusing attacks on specific targets, drawing enemy aggression and initiating extended attack chains during basic attacks. During multi-stage attacks or special attacks, she binds herself to the main target using "Forbidden Bounds."

Her skills generate Tribal Threads and Scorch Points, fueling a range of abilities that inflict significant fire damage. A highlight for many players who followed pre-release leaks is Evelyn's combat style, where she dramatically removes and wields her cape against her opponents. This dynamic combat style, combined with her powerful abilities, has already captured the hearts of many anticipating her arrival.
