The game unfolds on a Jupiter space station, a bizarre, acid-rain-soaked bazaar brimming with mystery. Orangutans with surprising wit work the docks, and cultists barter flesh for enlightenment. The universe itself is for sale, thanks to Lila, a woman with the remarkable ability to create universes from her very hand.

The game begins in the shantytown of a mining colony, where you play as the Master, a skeletal cultist from the Cult of Detachment—a character both unsettling and captivating. Exploring the ramshackle colony, filled with quirky shops, you eventually encounter Honin’s Tea House, Lila's establishment. The mystery surrounding Lila unfolds as you shift between her perspective and the Master's throughout the game.

Playing as Lila involves creating universes in a captivating mini-game, mixing and matching ingredients to produce mesmerizing visual worlds. The Master's storyline delves into the philosophies of the Cult of Detachment and interactions with the Church of Many Gods.

The narrative gradually unfolds, prompting speculation about the overarching plot. Every character, be it human, skeletal, or robotic, possesses a unique story, and the richly detailed world invites exploration of every nook and cranny.
