Monster Hunter Now Season 4: A Frosty New Adventure Awaits!
Niantic's Monster Hunter Now plunges into a winter wonderland with the launch of Season 4! Brave the snowy tundra and face a host of new challenges and creatures. Even if your fingers are virtually frostbitten, there's plenty to keep your hunts exciting.
What's New in Season 4?
This season introduces a brand new snowy tundra habitat. Prepare for icy winds, deep snowdrifts, and a thrilling roster of monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Returning favorites include Barioth, Wulg, and Cortos. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these powerful creatures by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is unlocked after completing the prologue.
The highly anticipated Switch Axe weapon joins the arsenal. This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds: powerful long-range attacks in Axe Mode, and ferocious close-quarters combat in Sword Mode. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing Chapter 2 of the pre-season story.
Customize your very own Palico companion! Adjust their fur color, facial features, and give them a unique name. And for the AR enthusiasts, take your custom Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.
Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering. Send your friends a cheer for a temporary health boost, adding a collaborative element to the hunt. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health you can gain from cheers.
