A PC Release Sooner Than Expected?

During Shift Up's IPO press conference on June 25th, CFO Ahn Jae-woo revealed the company's interest in a PC version of Stellar Blade, citing its potential for further monetization. This decision considers the current PS5 market and the growing shift of AAA game players towards PC gaming.

Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-Tae confirmed the PC version is under review, although a release date remains unannounced due to contractual obligations. This aligns with the company's public filings, which include plans for a PC release and a potential sequel.

Kim emphasized that Stellar Blade was designed to build a high-value IP, fostering a global fanbase. The team intentionally avoided features like microtransactions that might compromise the brand's integrity.

Major Updates and Collaborations on the Horizon!

Beyond the PC port, Stellar Blade players can anticipate a series of updates and collaborations throughout the year. This includes a highly anticipated Photo Mode (August), new costumes (October), and a major collaboration to be revealed later this year.
