Locate Professor Lodochka on Wild Island

Begin by traveling to the mission marker on Wild Island, leading you to Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. However, priority shifts to eliminating mercenaries in the area – conveniently marked on your map, eliminating the need for extensive searching. Equip yourself well; these aren't the only enemies you'll encounter. After clearing the mercenaries, a single marker will pinpoint Lodochka's location. An optional objective, activating the ventilation system, becomes available.

Activate the Ventilation System (Optional)

Consult your map for the location of a fuse. Once acquired, another marker appears north, directing you to the engineering rooms. Be prepared for an invisible enemy within. Proceed through the shelter's passageways to the engine room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system, simplifying the following steps. While not rewarding unique items, completing this objective streamlines the mission.

Find the Signal Source

Before proceeding, consider upgrading your weaponry, as the next phase presents significant challenges. Locate the marked cave entrance near the water. Navigate westward through the caverns, descending and maneuvering past obstacles. A broken pipe provides access to higher cave levels.

Follow the marker to a large cone-shaped spire. The emitter is located at the marked point beside it. An invisible enemy awaits on your return journey. Finally, report back to Professor Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
