Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse
Stalker 2 offers a range of armor suits to enhance player survivability within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a standout member of the SEVA series, stands out for its value and accessibility – it's free and obtainable early in the game. Its significant PSI protection makes it a highly sought-after find. This guide details how to acquire it.
The SEVA-V armor is located at the Scientist Helicopter Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field containing a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly and a large, rusty crane. Reaching the suit requires some climbing.
Upon entering the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see a crashed helicopter (right) within an Electro anomaly and a ladder leading up the rusty crane (left). Before climbing, use an artifact detector to locate and retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomaly field to the right. This will help mitigate the effects of the anomaly.
Climb the crane's ladder. Once at the top, proceed right across the crane to the operator's cabin on the left.
Carefully jump across the gap to the operator's cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.
The SEVA-V suit can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. It allows for four artifact slots and provides excellent radiation protection along with respectable PSI protection. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
