Stalker 2: How To Get The Unique Cavalier Rifle

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl boasts a diverse arsenal, letting you tailor your loadout to your preferred playstyle. Beyond the standard issue, you can uncover unique weapons with special modifications and enhanced power. The Cavalier sniper rifle is one such prize, a distinctive weapon featuring a red-dot sight instead of a traditional scope, making it incredibly effective at short to medium ranges. Let's explore how to acquire this powerful addition to your inventory.

Acquiring the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle awaits within the Duga base, specifically near the Military Unit. You'll find it inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously visited Duga to collect the Journalist's stash, navigating to this location should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Navigating to the Warehouse

Upon entering Duga, head towards the Military Unit building indicated on your map. Circumvent the building itself; your target is the greenhouse at the rear. Exercise caution, as two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse carefully to avoid a potentially hazardous encounter.

Proceed through the greenhouse to reach the warehouse. Be prepared—upon entering, you'll be swarmed by rats, constantly chipping away at your health. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse for a tactical advantage. Consider using a grenade to swiftly eliminate the rodent infestation.

Retrieving the Cavalier

Once the rats are dealt with, examine the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll spot wooden boards painted yellow. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle, which will drop from above.

Retrieve your prize and safely exit the Duga base. Further enhance the Cavalier's already impressive damage and accuracy by taking it to Screw, the technician at Rostok base, for upgrades and modifications. The Cavalier's red-dot sight makes it an excellent choice for players who prefer a scope-less sniper rifle, allowing for effective close to medium-range combat.
