Squid Game: Unleashed is gearing up for a major content drop to coincide with the release of season two of the hit Netflix show. Get ready for new characters, a fresh map, and exciting challenges! Plus, exclusive in-game rewards await those who watch the new episodes.

Netflix's surprising move to offer Squid Game: Unleashed free to all players, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, before the holidays, has been followed up with this enticing content update designed to attract new players and reward existing fans.

Here's what's in store for players starting January 3rd:

  • A new map inspired by Mingle: Experience a map based on one of the key mini-games from Squid Game season two.
  • Three new playable characters: Geum-Ja, Yong-Sik, and Thanos (the rapper, not the Avenger!) will be available throughout January. Special in-game events will run to unlock Geum-Ja and Thanos.

Unlocking Characters & Rewards:

  • Geum-Ja: Unlockable via a Dalgona Mash Up Collection Event running from January 3rd to 9th. Complete Mingle-inspired mini-games and collect Dalgona tins.
  • Thanos: Available via Thanos’ Red Light Challenge, running from January 9th to 14th. Eliminate players using knives to earn this character.
  • Watch and Win: Viewers of Squid Game season two can earn in-game Cash and Wild Tokens. Watching up to seven episodes unlocks the exclusive Binni Binge-Watcher outfit!

January Content Calendar:

  • January 3rd: Mingle map and Geum-Ja character released. Geum-Ja's event begins.
  • January 9th: Thanos character released. Thanos' event begins. Geum-Ja's event ends.
  • January 16th: Yong-Sik character released.
