Hazelight Studios continues to stand out in the gaming industry with its unique approach to co-op gameplay. Their signature "Friends Pass" system, requiring only one purchase for two players to enjoy the game, remains a distinctive feature, setting them apart from the competition. While past titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly ideal for their co-op focus, this limitation is now a thing of the past.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The Friends Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game, although both players will require an EA account to play together.
To further enhance accessibility, Hazelight is releasing a demo version of Split Fiction, allowing potential players to experience the gameplay firsthand with a friend. Progress made in the demo will seamlessly carry over to the full game.
Split Fiction promises a diverse range of settings, yet its core will remain focused on exploring the complexities and nuances of human relationships. The game's launch is fast approaching—set for March 6th—and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
