September brings a thrilling new season to Marvel Snap (Free), themed around everyone's favorite web-slinger and his incredible allies! This season introduces a game-changing mechanic: Activate abilities. Unlike "On Reveal," Activate abilities let you choose precisely when to trigger their effects, adding a strategic layer and opening up exciting new possibilities.

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), showcases this new mechanic perfectly. His Activate ability lets you absorb the lowest-cost card at a location and copy its effect – even triggering On Reveal abilities again! This card promises chaotic and potentially overpowered gameplay, making it a likely candidate for future adjustments.

Beyond Symbiote Spider-Man, the season introduces a roster of exciting new cards:

• Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) On Reveal: Steals 2 Power from the top card of your opponent's deck. A powerful disruption tool.
• Madame Web: (Ongoing) Allows you to move one card at her location to another location once per turn. A versatile card for manipulating the board.
• Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Activate: Moves the next card you play to the right and gives it +2 Power. A key addition to move-based decks.
• Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) Activate: Spawns an identical clone at another location. A powerful card for creating overwhelming board presence.

Two new locations also join the fray:

• Brooklyn Bridge: A classic Spider-Man location with a twist – you can't play cards there two turns in a row, demanding creative deckbuilding and strategic placement.
• Otto's Lab: Reflecting Doctor Octopus's chaotic nature, the next card played here pulls a card from your opponent's hand onto the location, adding an element of surprise and unpredictability.
