Announced back in June 2020, with glimpses shared over the years, skate. is finally ready for its console playtest on PlayStation and Xbox. While a PC beta date hasn't been confirmed, registering as an Insider ensures you'll be among the first to know.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September, as highlighted in recent videos. However, developer Full Circle encourages everyone to sign up, as development continues actively.

To participate in the beta, visit EA's official website, navigate to the skate. page, and register for Skate Insider Playtesting. Early access testers (Insiders) will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers, upon the Early Access launch.

skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This marks a significant return for the franchise, nearly a decade after Skate 3, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, it promises a free-to-play, live-service experience offering an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed by Full Circle in a previous YouTube interview.
