The Sims Marks 25th Anniversary with Free Giveaways

Electronic Arts recently hosted an exciting livestream to gear up fans for the 25th anniversary celebration of The Sims series. The event was packed with announcements about the upcoming gifts and events for The Sims 4 players during the festive weeks ahead.

To kick off the preparations, a new update has already been rolled out, addressing numerous bugs, revamping the main menu, and enhancing overall game optimization. The developers have also given a fresh look to several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. These updated versions are immediately available when starting a new game, and for those playing with existing saves, the renovated houses can be accessed through the library.

The highlight of the celebration is set to begin on February 4. On this day, The Sims 4 will be enriched with an update that introduces over 70 new free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event named "Blast from the Past" will commence. Players can participate in a series of simple missions to unlock retro-style items and complete a new set, adding a nostalgic touch to their gameplay.

Furthermore, starting February 6, The Sims 4 will launch a new season called Motherlode. While the specifics of what this season will entail are still a mystery, anticipation is high among the community for what's to come.
