Unlocking Astro Bot's Lost Galaxy: A Comprehensive Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers players a vast array of explorable worlds. Beyond the main game, however, lies the Lost Galaxy – a secret area accessible only through ten hidden portals scattered throughout the game's levels. This guide details the location and method of accessing each portal.

Each level containing a portal features a distinctive swirling icon on its selection screen. While some portals are readily apparent, others require careful observation and puzzle-solving.

Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Mid-level, locate a dark room with a torch-lit wall. Extinguish all four torches using the Twin-Frog Gloves to reveal the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, find a snowy arena with a ladybug enemy. Grab the charging pig, swing it towards the icy statue, and release it to destroy the statue. Backtrack, bounce over the ladybug, perform a charged spin attack, and access the portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate his embedded claw. A glowing light indicates the spot for a charged spin attack, revealing a hidden room and the portal.

Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into the controller, shrink, and ride a bubble to a branch above a bot. Jump to the opposite branch to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!

At the level's start, turn around and lure the electric enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing the portal.

Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Find the house with a flaming chimney. Absorb water, reach the roof, extinguish the flames, and descend the chimney to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid

At the level's end, locate the falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to reach a hidden area, activating a trap. Find two hidden switches to open the pathway to the portal.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

Obtain the puffer-fish power-up. Backtrack to a platform near the start, hit the ladybug towards the floating area, and use the puffer-fish and hover to reach the platform. Use motion controls to clear bamboo and activate the portal.

Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, using the glowing ground to locate invisible platforms. Hover to the elevated platform, ride the rug to another, and find the portal.

Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal

Before the boss fight, roll the snowball into a large ball and use it to reach the cliff area, revealing the final portal.
