Mounts. Fortunately, Rune Slayer lets you ride creatures—though the game doesn't clearly explain how. This guide will walk you through every step.

Prerequisites for Unlocking Your Mount

Before speeding across the realm of Rune Slayer, ensure you meet these requirements:

These milestones are easily achievable. Hitting level 20 takes roughly 5-6 hours (faster with friends)—just complete quests, jobs, and defeat enemies. Pet taming becomes available through an early quest, which teaches this simple process:

Completing the Mount Questline

At level 20, visit Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire to begin "Jimmy’s Delivery." This quest sends you north through Wayshire’s gate into Greatwood Forest—avoid lingering, as enemies here pose challenges. Continue north until reaching Ashenshire, identifiable by its towering treehouses.

Climb the entrance rope to meet Madonna The Stable Master (no quest marker). Select "I have a package for you", then return south to Wayshire. Upon delivery, Jimmy rewards you with an indestructible Saddle that won't appear in your inventory.

Riding Your Pet in Rune Slayer

Summon your pet (Hold "T"), approach it, and select the "Mount" prompt (Press "E"). This works for all rideable pets.
