This exciting partnership promises brand-new Pokémon adventures, reimagined through Aardman's signature stop-motion animation style.
The details are currently shrouded in secrecy, but the potential for a feature film or TV series is high, given Aardman's renowned expertise in both formats. The official announcement, made via X (formerly Twitter) and The Pokémon Company's website, simply states that Aardman will infuse its unique storytelling into the Pokémon universe.
Both companies expressed immense enthusiasm. Taito Okiura, VP of Marketing and Media at The Pokémon Company International, called it a "dream partnership," highlighting Aardman's exceptional talent.
