PlatinumGames appears to be working on a new online game, according to a recent job posting. This follows the studio's previous venture into online gaming with Babylon’s Fall. As Tech4Gamers reports, the company is seeking a game designer with "experience in online action game development" and a background in "level design for online or open-world games."

　⚫︎　The collaboration between Team NINJA and PlatinumGames on Ninja Gaiden 4 was reportedly suggested by Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer, according to the game's producer.

In an interview with Game Watch, Team NINJA producer Fumihiko Yasuda stated that while the studio had long wanted to create a new Ninja Gaiden game, it faced difficulties in defining the project's direction. The partnership with PlatinumGames, now co-developing the title, was initiated following Spencer's proposal.

　⚫︎　Ninja Gaiden 4 was officially announced during today's Developer_Direct, marking the series' first mainline release in 13 years. Scheduled for release this fall, the new game is a co-development between Team NINJA and PlatinumGames. The event also featured the surprise launch of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, a remaster of the 2008 title.
