Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol Is Dropping Its First DLC The Sins of New Wells

Netflix's *Rise of the Golden Idol* is set to launch its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, on mobile devices. Scheduled for release on March 4th, this exciting new content will also be available on PC and consoles. For mobile gamers, the best news is that it's completely free, thanks to its inclusion in Netflix Gaming.

What’s in Store?

Prepare yourself for deeper mysteries, darker crimes, and the enchanting allure of Lemurian magic. New Wells, the setting for this DLC, is a city plagued with issues far beyond the typical urban struggles. Homicide detective Roy Samson finds himself transferred to the notorious 9th District, a place where justice is scarce.

Corruption is rampant, and crime is the norm. Teamed up with his new partner, Cliff Savea, Roy begins investigating a string of brutal crimes, only to uncover a sinister plot that runs deeper than they imagined.

*The Sins of New Wells* introduces four thrilling new cases to the game: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case presents a complex web of crime, deceit, and mystery. Players will need to untangle the lies, identify the hidden agendas (everyone has one), and piece together the clues.

To crack these cases, you'll interrogate mostly dishonest characters and solve intricate puzzles. Be prepared, as a sense of madness pervades New Wells.

*Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a premier modern detective game. If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can enjoy this game for free on the Google Play Store.
