The *Naruto* franchise, beloved by fans worldwide, boasts a variety of games, including the intriguing *Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō* series, which comprises five engaging titles.
The inaugural game in the Naruto: Path of the Ninja series is Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō. Launched in 2003, it was exclusively released in Japan for the Bandai WonderSwan Color—a handheld console from 1999 that never saw international release. The narrative centers on the Land of Waves arc, enhanced by additional missions undertaken by Team 7.
Similarly exclusive to Japan, Naruto: Konoha Senki was developed by the toy company Tomy for the Game Boy Advance in 2003. The game encompasses the first 70 episodes of the series, covering the Land of Waves and Chūnin Exams arcs. Initially, players control Team 7 and Kakashi, with the opportunity to unlock additional characters after the first playthrough.
Surprisingly, Naruto: Path of the Ninja is the third installment in the series, despite its name. Developed by Tomy and released in 2004, it debuted on the Nintendo DS in Japan before being adapted for the Game Boy Advance for a worldwide release. The storyline spans the early arcs of the anime, culminating in the Chūnin Exams arc.

Despite its title, Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan serves as a sequel to Naruto: Path of the Ninja. Released in 2005 for the Nintendo DS, this Tomy-developed game was exclusive to Japan. It follows the Search for Tsunade arc and concludes with the Sasuke Recovery Mission, where Sasuke Uchiha departs from Konoha.
The final entry in the series, Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, was crafted by Tomy and initially released in Japan in 2006, with a global rollout in 2008 on the Nintendo DS. Unlike its predecessors, this game offers a unique, non-canonical storyline featuring the Three Ryūdōin Brothers as the main antagonists and an original Anbu character as the player's ally.
This comprehensive overview covers the Naruto: Path of the Ninja series, each game offering a unique dive into the Naruto universe despite their varied titles and regional availability.
