NetEase Games has unveiled details for Season 1 of Marvel Rivals, titled "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces significant changes, including a new villain, roster additions, map expansions, a fresh game mode, and substantial balance adjustments.

Key Features of Season 1:

• Dracula, the Main Villain: Season 1 will feature Dracula as the primary antagonist, adding a thrilling new dimension to the gameplay.
• The Fantastic Four Join the Fray: The iconic Fantastic Four – Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman initially, followed by Human Torch and The Thing within six to seven weeks – bolster the hero roster.
• New Maps and Game Mode: Three new maps and a new game mode, "Doom Match," will enhance gameplay variety and strategic depth.
• Battle Pass with Rewarding Content: A battle pass, costing 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion.

Balance Changes:

Significant balance adjustments are planned to address hero power discrepancies. Hela and Hawkeye, previously dominant, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to improve their viability. Other adjustments include buffs for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic utilization of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger will also see improvements to better integrate them into diverse team compositions. Finally, adjustments are planned for Jeff the Land Shark to better align his early warning indicators with his ultimate's hitbox.
