Marvel Contest Celebrates Halloween with Enhanced Graphics and More

Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a terrifying Halloween update, celebrating its 10th anniversary with spooky new additions to The Battlerealm.

A Spooky Halloween Event

This year's Halloween event features chilling new champions: Scream, the vengeful symbiote, and Jack O’ Lantern, a villain with a gruesome habit of transforming victims into eerie jack-o'-lanterns. These additions heighten the thrills of the House of Horrors event, where players join Jessica Jones to solve a dark mystery within a nightmarish carnival.

A separate side quest, Jack’s Bounty-full Hunt, challenges players in gladiator-style combat with weekly challenges and multiple paths. This event runs from October 9th to November 6th.

10th Anniversary Celebrations

The Halloween festivities coincide with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is marking the occasion with ten major game reveals, including reworked versions of Medusa and Purgatory.

The Deadpool’s Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season for collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, including the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st to November 15th), is also part of the anniversary celebrations. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently underway, concluding October 30th, and boasts new features focused on buffs and critical hits.

60 FPS Update on the Horizon

A significant upgrade is coming: a 60 FPS gameplay update, launching November 4th, will dramatically improve the game's smoothness.
