Kabam is introducing Isophyne, a completely original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her striking design evokes elements reminiscent of the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Abilities

Isophyne enters the arena with a unique fighting style. Unlike traditional champions who build power for special moves, Isophyne utilizes a "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic. This allows for unprecedented flexibility, enabling her to chain together special attacks in any order she chooses. Instead of a rigid sequence (Special 1, then 2, then 3), she can unleash multiple Special 1s consecutively, creating unpredictable combat strategies.

Mysterious Origins and Future Plans

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, linked to the Founders, a secretive group within the game's lore. More details about the Founders and Isophyne's role will be revealed in 2025.

Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebrations

This new champion arrives amidst Kabam's 10th-anniversary celebrations for Marvel Contest of Champions. A wave of surprises is planned for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025, following October's additions of Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
