The Fisch bestiary boasts a diverse array of fish, some requiring specific conditions for capture. This guide details how to catch the elusive Midnight Axolotl.
This legendary creature presents a formidable challenge, significantly harder to catch than its regular counterpart. It's arguably one of the most difficult catches in the game. However, with the right preparation, success is achievable.
The Midnight Axolotl is among the most challenging Legendary fish to acquire. Catching it involves overcoming a 70% progress speed debuff. Furthermore, its location, the Desolate Deep, requires effort to reach.
The Desolate Deep's depth makes it inaccessible without Diving Gear. Follow these steps:
Once you've located the Midnight Axolotl, gear selection is crucial. Insects are the preferred bait. Additionally, the Midnight Axolotl only spawns at night, necessitating Sundial Totems.
Optimal fishing occurs during Spring or Autumn. However, the 70% progress speed debuff remains a significant obstacle.
To mitigate this, select a rod with high Luck and Resilience stats, such as the Steady Rod, given the Midnight Axolotl's low weight.
Alternatively, the Nocturnal Rod, while lacking Resilience bonuses, allows for Midnight Axolotl capture regardless of time of day.
