Hearthstone Is Dropping Its Biggest Mini-Set with Heroes of StarCraft

Hearthstone's upcoming The Great Dark Beyond Mini-Set: Heroes of StarCraft introduces iconic StarCraft factions to the game, launching January 21st with numerous quests and challenges.

The Largest Mini-Set Yet!

This Mini-Set boasts a record-breaking 49 cards, surpassing the usual 38. The impressive lineup includes 4 Legendary, 1 Epic, 20 Rare, and 24 Common cards, offering unparalleled variety.

Each StarCraft faction contributes 5 multi-class cards, with the neutral Grunty as a standout addition.

Acquire the Heroes of StarCraft Mini-Set by opening The Great Dark Beyond Hearthstone packs or purchasing the complete 94-card set directly for 2500 Gold (standard) or 12,000 Gold (all-Golden).

StarCraft Factions Take Center Stage

  • Zerg: Led by Sarah Kerrigan, the Zerg overwhelm opponents with swarms of minions. Their multi-class cards span Death Knight, Demon Hunter, Hunter, and Warlock classes, ideal for token generation strategies.

  • Protoss: Under the command of High Templar Artanis, the Protoss focus on powerful, high-cost cards that decrease in cost over time, enabling explosive game-changing turns. Their allies are found in Druid, Mage, Priest, and Rogue classes.

  • Terran: Jim Raynor leads the Terran forces, featuring Paladin, Shaman, and Warrior classes. Their strength lies in Starship synergies, allowing for multiple Starship deployments per game, culminating in the redesigned Battlecruiser with the Mech minion type. Players possessing a Signature Starship will unlock a Signature-art Battlecruiser.
