HandyGames Announces Way of the Hunter: Wild America CBT for Mobile

Way of the Hunter: Wild America is coming to mobile devices, bringing its expansive open-world hunting experience to smartphones and tablets. PC players are already familiar with its acclaimed gameplay. Originally released by Nine Rocks Games in August 2022 for PC and consoles, the mobile port is currently in beta testing, with a full release planned soon by THQ Nordic and HandyGames.

Will the Mobile Version Be Complete?

While some graphical compromises are expected due to hardware limitations, the core gameplay experience, including DLC, is slated for inclusion post-launch. HandyGames has announced a closed beta test via a signup form on their official X (formerly Twitter) account.

A Top-Tier Hunting Simulator?

Way of the Hunter challenges players with realistic hunting mechanics, requiring patience and strategic thinking. Animals behave naturally, reacting to the player's actions within the game's vast open-world environments, inspired by the US and Europe, spanning 55 square miles.

The game features authentic hunting weapons, from rifles to bows, and incorporates elements like blood splatter analysis and tracking animal signs for a realistic hunting experience. The ecosystem is dynamic; over-hunting in one area will impact animal populations.
