  • Grid: Legends will be hitting storefronts on December 17th 2024
  • It comes to us courtesy of porting masters Feral Interactive
  • Grid comes stuffed to the gills with over a hundred cars, more than twenty tracks and more

Upcoming Codemasters high-octane, rubber-burning racing sim Grid: Legends Deluxe Edition will hit mobile on December 17th, developer Feral Interactive has confirmed. Ported by the folks behind Total War's critically-acclaimed mobile ports, and the technically groundbreaking adaptation of Alien: Isolation, Grid: Legends promises to offer top-notch racing action on your phone.

Codemasters needs little introduction, as they're well-known for their F1 series and the previously released Grid Autosports. But Grid: Legends takes things to the next level, and Feral Interactive have been eager to boast about the boundary-pushing graphics and stuffed-to-the-gills level of content this new release comes with.

How much, you may ask? How does 22 distinct locations across the globe, 120 vehicles that range from top-of-the-line racing cars to trucks and more, 10 motorsport disciplines, a Career and live-action Story mode sound to you?

Of course, there's no such thing as a free lunch and Grid: Legends will come to storefronts on iOS and Android for the princely sum of $14.99 (varying by location). But with the content promised by Feral Interactive, it may be more than worth the price of entry for motorsports fans who want to have some of the best high-octane action in the palm of their hands.

Feral Interactive's dominant position in porting great releases to mobile is certainly in stark contrast to the sadly shakier reputation of GTA porter Grove Street Games. They recently saw themselves sidelined from the disastrous GTA: Definitive Edition, which has slowly been clawing back support with a slew of new updates.

In contrast, Feral Interactive's most recent release, porting Creative Assembly's contentious but hugely popular Total War: Empire to mobile was enough to win over our reviewer Cristina Mesesan when they got their mitts on it recently.
