Pokemon GO enthusiasts are in for a treat as Gigantamax Kingler is set to debut on February 1, 2025. Following the highly anticipated introduction of Dynamax and Gigantamax forms last year, Niantic continues to expand the roster of these unique variants in the game.

Gigantamax is a special type of Dynamax where Pokemon not only grow in size and power but also undergo a striking transformation, gaining unique G-Max Moves. While the main series games feature 32 Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, only six are currently available in Pokemon GO, with the recent addition of Gigantamax Lapras. The upcoming event promises to increase this number.

From 12 am to 5 pm on February 1, players will earn twice as many particles while exploring and require only a quarter of the usual distance to collect Max Particles. A $5 ticket will offer 1 Max Mushroom, 25,000 XP, double XP from Max Battles, and an increased Max Particle collection limit of 5,600. Additionally, a $7.99 box containing six particle packs will be available on the Pokemon GO Web Store.

The Max Battle Day event is one of several exciting events scheduled for February. It follows the Lunar New Year event, running from January 29 to February 1, and precedes the return of Shadow Ho-Oh in a Shadow Raid Day on January 19.
