Genshin Impact heats up with new volcano area added in update 5.5

Genshin Impact is igniting the excitement with its upcoming 5.5 update, "Day of the Flame's Return," arriving March 26th. This update introduces a fiery new location: the Great Volcano of Tollan, home to the previously inaccessible Sacred City of Tollan. Explore this ancient Dragonborn-built city and uncover the secrets of the Flamelord's Blessing.

But the heat doesn't stop at lava! The final Natlan tribe, the Tribe of Plenty, makes its debut alongside a colossal new Saurian, Tatankasaurus, whose strength allows it to shatter massive rocks.

Embracing the Inferno

Navigating the perilous volcano will be easier with the addition of two new characters. Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, unleashes devastating Electro damage. Meanwhile, Iansan, one of Natlan's six heroes, is a four-star Electro Polearm wielder who boosts attack damage while healing allies.

Version 5.5 also includes a new seasonal event, "Tournament of Glory in Bloom," alongside new Event Wishes and more. Get ready to return to Natlan and experience the intensity of "Day of the Flame's Return"!
