Forspoken, despite its free PS Plus offering nearly a year post-launch, continues to spark heated player discussions. The game's reception remains sharply divided, even among those who experienced it at no cost.

The December 2024 PS Plus Extra and Premium additions, including Forspoken and Sonic Frontiers, generated surprisingly positive initial reactions.
