Sound Realms, the popular audio RPG platform, expands its library with a nostalgic classic: Steve Jackson's F.I.S.T.! Originally released in 1988 as a revolutionary interactive telephone RPG, F.I.S.T. (Fantasy Interactive Scenarios by Telephone) is now fully realized as an audio adventure on Sound Realms.
This revival brings the iconic choose-your-own-adventure experience to modern devices, replacing rotary dial inputs with a user-friendly touchscreen interface. Fans of Steve Jackson, the creator of Fighting Fantasy, will appreciate this updated take on a gaming legend.
The original gameplay, where players navigated an audio story via phone prompts, is reimagined with high-quality voice acting, orchestral music, and immersive sound effects. While the iconic Black Claw Tavern and its player interaction features are yet to be confirmed, the core adventure remains intact.
Explore the perilous Castle Mammon, confront fearsome monsters, and seek legendary treasures while evading the sinister Kaddis Ra.
