《最终幻想XVI》PC版售价为49.99美元，豪华版售价为69.99美元。豪华版包含游戏两个故事扩展包：《陨落的回响》和《涨潮》。为了满足玩家的期待，现已推出可游玩试玩版，让玩家体验游戏的序章和以战斗为中心的“艾康挑战”模式。试玩版进度可继承至完整游戏。
此外，FFXVI总监高井宏史在接受Rock Paper Shotgun采访时表示，为PC版游戏，“我们已将帧率上限提高到240fps，并且可以选择各种升级技术，例如NVIDIA DLSS3、AMD FSR和Intel XeSS。”
