Hunting for resources in *Monster Hunter Wilds* can be a rewarding, yet sometimes challenging, experience. Sharp Fangs, a crucial crafting material, are particularly sought after for early-game gear like the Chatacabra and Talioth armor sets. Your hunt for Sharp Fangs begins in the Windward Plains, accessible early in the game. Optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding" provide convenient access to this area, granting a generous 50-minute time limit. Once in the Windward Plains, head to Area 8—the largest area, teeming with smaller monsters. While several creatures here have a chance to drop Sharp Fangs, the Gaijo is your prime target.

Gaijos: Your Primary Sharp Fang Source

Gaijos, small crocodile-like leviathans, are usually found near or in riverbeds, often solitary. Their locations are indicated by purple diamonds on your map near water sources.
