EOS Integrated into Battle Crush Shortly After Launch

NCSoft has unexpectedly announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA), Battle Crush. This is surprising given the game never reached a full, polished release. While a global test launched in August 2023 and early access began in June 2024, the game is ceasing operations just months later.

Battle Crush's Shutdown Date

The game's servers will officially shut down on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already been halted. However, players who made in-app purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund.

Android and Steam users can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Players should download any desired content before November 28th, 2024, as access will be terminated thereafter.

The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, potentially for support purposes. Social media accounts and Discord will be discontinued on January 31st, 2025.

An Unsurprising Closure?

The announcement is undoubtedly disappointing for players who invested time and effort. However, those following the game's development might not be entirely shocked. Battle Crush faced challenges, including somewhat clunky controls and pacing issues. While enjoyable, it lacked the polish needed for long-term success, ultimately leading to its premature closure.

You can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before its complete shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming coverage of the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
