BioWare's latest developer update shines a spotlight on the PC version of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, emphasizing its optimized performance and extensive customization options. Expect advanced display settings and seamless Steam integration, including cloud saves, Remote Play, and Steam Deck compatibility.The October 31st release date (confirmed by Nvidia's RTX Announce Trailer) underscores BioWare's commitment to PC players. The studio invested a significant 200,000 hours in performance and compatibility testing on PCs—40% of their total platform testing. This dedication extends to user research, with nearly 10,000 hours spent refining controls and UI for various setups.
Expect native support for PS5 DualSense controllers (with haptic feedback), Xbox controllers, and keyboard/mouse, with seamless switching between them in-game and in menus.
