Starting January 17, 2025, Godzilla invades Fortnite Chapter 6. To gain a massive advantage, you'll need to locate and be the first to enter a randomly spawning rift on the Battle Royale Island.

If you're lucky enough to claim the rift, you'll transform into Godzilla, unleashing chaos on the lobby. Command three devastating moves: the Roar to pinpoint nearby players, the Mighty Stomp Attack to send them flying, and the Heat Ray for explosive damage. Be warned, though – the entire lobby will be gunning for you!

How To Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite

If you weren't the lucky one to become Godzilla, prepare for an epic battle! Fortunately, Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Hitting these repeatedly will cause Godzilla Fragments to drop, providing 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during the fight.

The Rail Gun makes a return for this event, offering a powerful advantage if you can find one. High-rarity weapons are also highly effective. Remember, the player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla receives the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.

Defeating Godzilla is a challenge, but the rewards – the Medallion, the Burst Quad Launcher, and bragging rights – are well worth the effort.
