In the mid-2010s, three seasons of Daredevil captivated audiences with a gritty exploration of Hell's Kitchen, earning it the title of one of the best-reviewed Marvel series. The shock cancellation by Netflix in 2018 left fans reeling. However, Charlie Cox's portrayal of Daredevil has since made appearances in lighter MCU projects like She-Hulk and Spider-Man: No Way Home, leaving many surprised by the announcement of a new solo series. Now, Daredevil: Born Again promises an even more intense experience, despite its home on the family-friendly Disney+.
If you're eager to stream Daredevil: Born Again online or want to know the full episode release schedule, here's all the information you need.

Daredevil: Born Again is a direct sequel to the 2015 Daredevil series, with most characters and plot points seamlessly transitioning into the new show. While its exact place in the MCU timeline remains unclear, Charlie Cox's Daredevil has notably appeared in The Defenders, She-Hulk, and Spider-Man: No Way Home. Meanwhile, the primary antagonist Wilson Fisk made an appearance in the Disney+ series Echo.
IGN recently explored Frank Miller's original Born Again comic arc, which inspired the title of the new series, though it won't be a direct adaptation. Here’s Marvel's official synopsis for Daredevil: Born Again:
Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, continues his fight for justice through his bustling law firm. Meanwhile, former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) embarks on his own political journey in New York. As their past identities resurface, both men are set on an inevitable collision course.
Originally planned as a 19-episode season, Daredevil: Born Again has been split into two parts due to streaming trends. The first season consists of nine episodes, and the second season will feature the remaining nine episodes of the original arc. There's no confirmed release date yet for the second season on Disney+.
Daredevil was a key part of The Defenders, which followed its own season alongside the Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist series. With Daredevil's return, there's potential for other Defenders to make a comeback. Marvel's head of streaming, television, and animation has mentioned to Entertainment Weekly that they are "exploring" this possibility.
