Mastering Character Customization in Monster Hunter Wilds

Character customization is a key element in Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players extensive options to personalize their hunter and palico. This guide details how to modify your character's appearance and equipment.

Adjusting Physical Appearance

Monster Hunter Wilds provides a detailed character creator. To make adjustments after starting the game, access your tent at the base camp. Open the Appearance Menu (using L1 or R1), select "Change Appearance," and you can then revisit the character creator to modify your hunter and palico's physical features.

Changing Outfits and Layered Armor

The Layered Armor system is available from the game's outset. Navigate to your tent, open the Appearance Menu, and choose "Equipment Appearance." This lets you customize your hunter's attire using unlocked layered armor pieces. Note: You can't transmog equipped armor with other armor types you've crafted.
