Caverna Board Game Launches on Android

The popular board game Caverna: The Cave Farmers is now available in a digital format. This digital adaptation of Caverna has just launched on Android, iOS, and Steam. Originally released in 2013, it was designed by Uwe Rosenberg, the creator of Agricola.

On mobile, the game is published by Digidiced and is priced at $11.99. Digidiced is a German studio known for adapting numerous board games into digital editions. Currently, they are offering significant discounts on titles like Terra Mystica, Stockpile, Gaia Project, Chai, and Indian Summer.

Managing Multiple Strategic Choices in Caverna

In Caverna, you lead a dwarf family living in a cave, tasked with expanding and optimizing their underground homestead. You start with a simple cavern and can develop it in various ways.

You may clear forests to plant crops, fence off pastures for livestock, or mine the mountain for ore and rubies. You can even craft weapons and send your dwarves on expeditions.

Each round is crucial, as the game concludes after a fixed number of turns. Your final score depends on how effectively you've expanded your cave, developed resources, and managed your operations. Watch the gameplay video below to see it in action.

The digital edition of Caverna excels at streamlining the game's inherent complexity. You can play solo against AI opponents with distinct strategies, or compete with up to six players.
