Known Habitats: Windward Plains, Scarlet Forest, Ruins of Wyveria
Breakable Parts: Tail and Forelegs
Recommended Elemental Attacks: Fire and Lightning
Effective Status Effects: Poison (2x), Sleep (2x), Paralysis (2x), Blastblight (2x), Stun (2x), Exhaust (2x)
Effective Items: Flash Pod, Shock Trap, Pitfall Trap
Despite its size, Doshaguma is remarkably agile, making it a challenging target, especially for melee users. Flash Pods provide a crucial advantage. Their blinding effect stuns the monster briefly, creating an opening for attacks or even mounting.
Prioritize attacking Doshaguma's forelegs (3-star weakness) for maximum damage. While the back legs have a 2-star weakness, they're less effective targets. The head also boasts a 3-star weakness, making it a worthwhile alternative. Breaking the tail, though less damaging, yields valuable monster parts.
In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, fire and lightning are highly effective against Doshaguma. Bowgun users should utilize Flaming and Thunder ammo. Equipping fire-enhancing decorations further boosts damage. Fire attacks are most effective on the head and torso, while lightning attacks are best focused on the head.
Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, a status ailment causing explosions if the gauge fills or you take a heavy hit. Nulberries or Deodorant cure this. Alternatively, dodge-rolling up to three times can remove the effect.
Don't overlook the environment. Doshaguma's habitat often contains natural traps. Remember to sheath your weapon before using your slinger and position the trap strategically under the monster. Use Luring Ammo or bait if needed to draw its attention.

Capturing Doshaguma is an alternative to slaying it. Reduce its HP to 20% or less, then set a Shock or Pitfall Trap. Lure it onto the trap using Luring Ammo or meat. Once trapped, use tranquilizer ammo to subdue it (multiple shots may be needed).
This comprehensive guide covers hunting and capturing Doshaguma in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. Remember to eat a hearty meal for beneficial food buffs before embarking on your hunt.
