Celebrating Monster Hunter's 20th anniversary, Capcom's iconic action-RPG series teams up with Digimon! The result? The "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition" V-Pet, featuring designs based on the legendary Rathalos and Zinogre!
To mark two decades of Monster Hunter, a special edition Digimon COLOR V-Pet is available for pre-order. Sporting the vibrant colors of Rathalos and Zinogre, these limited-edition devices are priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD) plus any applicable shipping and import fees.
Each device boasts a color LCD screen, UV printing technology, and a rechargeable battery. Familiar features include customizable backgrounds and the "Cold Mode" mechanic, which temporarily suspends monster growth, hunger, and strength. A convenient backup system lets you save your progress and digital creatures.
Currently, pre-orders are exclusively available through Bandai's official Japanese online store. International shipping will incur extra costs. Note that, at the time of writing, the devices are already showing as out of stock, highlighting high demand. The initial pre-order window closes today at 11:00 p.m. JST (7:00 a.m. PT / 10:00 a.m. ET). Follow the Digimon Web Twitter (X) account for updates on future pre-order opportunities. The official release date is slated for April 2025. Global availability remains unannounced.
