The latest Minecraft Snapshot, 25W06A, is packed with exciting additions, including new animal variants, diverse grass types, and more. But the real star of this update might just be the captivating Cactus Flower. Here’s your guide to finding this vibrant bloom.
Cacti are Minecraft veterans, inhabiting arid regions and delivering a prickly surprise to unsuspecting players. While their thorns pose a challenge, cacti offer valuable uses, including green dye creation and camel breeding. Now, they've gotten an upgrade!
The Cactus Flower, introduced in the Snapshots/Java preview, adds a splash of color to the desert and badlands biomes. This striking pink flower has a chance to spawn atop cacti, making it easily noticeable against the less vibrant landscape.
While venturing into the wilderness is fun, growing your own resources is even better. Cactus Flowers can sprout on cacti planted in the ground, with the chances increasing as the cactus grows taller. Remember, a cactus must be at least two blocks high for a flower to appear.
Ensure your cacti have ample space on all four sides for optimal growth. Don't overcrowd them! With proper spacing, your cacti will flourish, producing beautiful Cactus Flowers.
Once you've harvested your Cactus Flowers, you have several options. Their vibrant pink hue makes them a delightful decorative element, adding a pop of color to any structure with center support. Beyond aesthetics, they can also be composted to create valuable bone meal.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Cactus Flowers are used to craft Pink Dye. One flower yields one dye, offering a versatile crafting ingredient with numerous applications, from customizing animal appearances to creating fireworks.
That's how to get your hands on the new Cactus Flower in Minecraft Snapshot 25W06A. For more Minecraft tips and tricks, learn how to obtain Armadillo Scutes!
