The Dark Knight once enjoyed a seemingly constant stream of new video games, a testament to his enduring popularity. Rocksteady's Batman Arkham series, in particular, revolutionized superhero gaming, setting a high bar that continues to influence the genre today.
Yet, the Bat-signal has dimmed considerably in recent years. A true solo Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's no immediate indication of that changing. While comic book fans have a wealth of upcoming superhero games to anticipate, those yearning to don the cowl will have to delve into the back catalog to discover the best Batman games.
