Astaweave Haven Rebranded With Fresh

HoYoVerse's parent company, MiHoYo, is busy at work on their next project. Initially known as Astaweave Haven, this upcoming game has been renamed Petit Planet, even before a proper reveal. Let's hope these changes are positive!

If you're a fan of gacha games or RPGs, you may have already heard whispers of Astaweave Haven. While official details from MiHoYo remain scarce, it seems this new title will be a significant departure from their typical open-world gacha adventures.

Instead of another open-world gacha, Petit Planet appears to be a life-simulation or management game, reminiscent of titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. This brings us to the exciting news: the name change!

The new name, Petit Planet, is a welcome change. It's undeniably charming and hints at the game's likely genre, clearly differentiating it from MiHoYo's established gacha RPGs.

Release Date?

The game is still under development, with no official release date announced. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile releases in July. However, on October 31st, HoYoVerse registered the Petit Planet trademark, currently awaiting approval in the U.S. and U.K.

Given MiHoYo's history of rapid development and release (consider the quick turnaround between Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero), we can hopefully anticipate a swift approval process and an imminent unveiling of Petit Planet.
