Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Goes Offline in Android Version

Great news for Animal Crossing fans! Following the announcement of the online version's closure, Nintendo has revealed the release date for the anticipated offline successor: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. This offline edition will launch on Android devices December 3rd.

What's in Store?

The free-to-play Pocket Camp will officially shut down November 29th. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete offers a reimagined experience, available as a one-time purchase. Priced at $9.99 until January 31st, 2025, the price increases to $19.99 thereafter.

This complete package includes years' worth of seasonal items, events, and content accumulated since the original game's 2017 launch. Players can still design their dream campsite, choosing from over 10,000 items.

New Features:

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete introduces exciting new features! Create personalized Camper Cards – your own trading cards showcasing your unique style. Choose a pose and color, and exchange cards with other players! Watch the latest trailer below:

A new hangout spot, Whistle Pass, provides a gathering place for Camper Card friends, complete with musical entertainment. Existing Pocket Camp save data can be transferred to the new version until June 2nd, 2025.

While offline, the game will require occasional internet access for time and account verification. All beloved seasonal events, from Halloween to summer festivals, remain.
