Katana Dragon is now officially available on mobile devices. Developed by Tsunoa Games, an independent studio from Alicante, this marks the team's debut release. The game creatively fuses Asian influences with European, specifically Spanish, cultural elements.
The adventure unfolds in the world of Sogen, a realm afflicted by an ancient malevolence that demands salvation from two unexpected heroes. You assume the roles of ninjas Shin and Nobi, who quickly become entangled in a conflict far grander than their initial assignment.
A seemingly straightforward mission to deliver a present soon escalates into a perilous journey. It all begins when their Sensei and those nearby are transformed into spectral forms by a spreading curse.
With Shin and Nobi mysteriously spared from the affliction, they embrace the duty of uncovering the truth. Guided by their ghostly Sensei, they traverse every part of Sogen, exploring villages, towns, mountains, and remote islands.
The narrative traces back a millennium, when a dragon once devastated Sogen until five monks used their Ki to seal it within a crystalline prison. Eventually, the creature broke free, plunging the land into turmoil once again.
A legendary swordsmith known as Katamune forged the Katana Dragon using shards of the shattered barrier. This gave the young samurai Cideyasu the legendary weapon required to confront the beast. Though their triumph should have ensured lasting peace, it merely postponed the looming danger.
Your journey unfolds across meticulously crafted maps, brimming with diverse puzzles, treacherous traps, hidden secrets, and challenging dungeons. Every dungeon, cavern, and concealed well holds valuable treasures and formidable bosses.
Survival demands mastery of a range of ninja abilities. These include Ninja Dash, a rapid maneuver to vault across chasms or evade attacks, which can activate Ninja Instinct when perfectly executed.
Shadow Clone summons a duplicate from your own shadow, capable of striking foes or activating switches. Shuriken Ki enables you to project energy blades that ricochet off surfaces and trigger mechanisms. Download the game today from the Google Play Store.
